Mankind’s only means of reconciliation with God and only hope of eternal life is through Jesus Christ.
WE HAVE ALL DISOBEYED GOD’S LAW AND ARE GUILTY OF SIN.
“...There is none righteous, no not one.” (Rom. 3:10) “...sin is the transgression of the law.” (1 John 3:4)
The Bible calls the breaking of God’s law SIN
"For the wages of sin is death…” (Rom. 6:23) “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Rev. 20:15)
The just wages of our sin (which is death) must be paid—we each owe a sin debt that must be paid by physical AND eternal death in the lake of fire (hell).
“Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son…” (1 John 4:10) “But God commendeth (demonstrated) his love toward us, in that , while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Rom. 5:8)
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Rom. 10:13) “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” (Eph. 2:8)
We invite you to repent of your sins, believe on the name of Jesus Christ, and receive Christ as your Savior today. If you have read, understood, and accepted the truth about God’s plan for salvation, and you are ready for God to save you, then pray the prayer below from your heart:
BEFORE YOU PRAY, READ THIS: You can pray this prayer 1,000 times, but if you don’t mean it with all your heart, you will not be saved, because its not the prayer that saves you, it is confessing that you are a sinner undeserving of forgiveness, abandoning your own attempts to do good, and trusting the finished work of Jesus Christ that saves you. As you pray, you must simply admit with all your heart that you are a sinner undeserving of forgiveness, admit that you cannot save yourself, repent, or turn from your own works; and call upon the name of the Lord , trusting Him to save you. If you do that with all your heart as you pray this prayer, then according to the Bible - THOU SHALT BE SAVED!
SALVATION PRAYER:
“Heavenly Father, I have sinned. I have broken your laws, and I am truly sorry. I am guilty of sin and deserving of eternal punishment, just like the Bible says; but right now I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ died for my sins, was buried , and rose again to forgive me of my sin debt, just like the Bible says. I call upon you now, in the name of Jesus Christ, to forgive me of all my sin and be my Savior. With all my heart, the best I know how, I now accept Jesus Christ my Savior, and trust His work on the cross to save my soul and get me heaven when I die. Thank you Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
IF YOU PRAYED THIS PRAYER WITH ALL YOUR HEART, PLEASE READ THIS! If you have prayed this prayer with all your heart, then you have just called upon the name of the Lord and, according to the Bible, you are saved. To those who have been saved, God’s Word promises eternal life, and so much more. Not only will God give you eternal life in heaven after you die, He gives you His peace and guidance in this life. The moment we receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, we become the children of God, under His loving care. God’s Holy Spirit becomes a part of our life to personally lead us and comfort us through all life’s trials and challenges. God now wants you to grow in your faith and in knowledge of the Scriptures. God’s plan for His children is to get involved in a Bible-believing Church. God’s Word says fellowship in a Bible teaching and preaching church is essential for our spiritual growth. As milk provides nourishment for a new born baby, a church provides the support, encouragement, protection, and guidance we need to grow spiritually healthy and strong. I would like to extend an invitation for you to come to our church so that we can assist you in God’s plan for your spiritual growth. We have a sincere desire to help souls trust Jesus Christ and help believers grow in God’s grace. Give us a call at (417) 967-5950 or email us at pastor@houstonbbc.com so that we can rejoice with you and answer any questions you have about your new life as a Christian. Our church address and a schedule of services can be found on our website. We would especially love to hear from you, if you have received Jesus Christ as your Saviour as a result of hearing the gospel message on our website!
IF YOU DID NOT PRAY THIS PRAYER, PLEASE READ THIS! If you have not called upon the Lord to save you, why not? Though God is longsuffering and gracious, He does not promise you another opportunity to be saved. Would you examine your heart and life in light of God’s Word and ask yourself where you want to spend eternity? God wants you to spend eternity with Him and He has done all that is necessary from His side to make that happen. The rest is up to you. God will not force you to get saved, He wants you to respond to His love. Salvation is not a demand from a tyrannical dictator, who wants an army of heartless robots, it is an offer from a loving Savior, Who wants to share His life with you.; and hell is not a threat from a cruel master, who enjoys watching people suffer; it is the reality of a Godless eternity reserved for those who refuse to admit their sinful condition and accept God’s merciful offer of salvation. Not only does God want to spend eternity with you, He wants to give you His peace and guidance in this life. When you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior, you become a child of God under His loving care. God’s Holy Spirit becomes a part of your life to lead you and comfort you through all life’s trials and challenges. Would you think on these things and accept God’s offer of salvation before it is too late? If you are still undecided, I invite you to visit our church. The address, directions, and service times are posted on our website. I also invite you to call us to talk or ask any questions you may have. You can reach us by phone at (417) 967-5950 or by email at pastor@houstonbbc.com. Though we may not know you, we pray for you because we pray for all who read this gospel message. Our prayer for you is that you might be saved before its too late. - “Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for all who read the gospel message on this website. Grant each one spiritual wisdom to accept the truth, spiritual hunger to desire a right relationship with you, spiritual sorrow to repent of their sins, and spiritual grace to trust Jesus Christ and receive Him as Savior.” |
